Description:
Im selling my very large aquarium which I've had for around 5 years, all been looked after very well and a lot of attention went into designing and setting it up.
The Aquarium;
Nearly 900l (878l). Measures 93x24x24" or 236x61x61cm. It's made from 10mm glass and is double based.
It was designed as a river aquarium so it has a raised floor with clearance underneath to allow the water to circulate without using pipes in the gravel. It also has a section to the left for the pump to sit which I also filled with k1 filter media for extra biological filtration. The pump section and the raised floor are constructed with glass and only siliconed in so could be easily removed if you wanted.
The back of the aquarium and ledges created by the raised floor are covered with Juwel Stone Clay Background and the side where the pump section is covered by a custom treated concrete background, again easily removed.
The tanks comes with cover glass (in two halfs), ones has a chip out of a corner but doesnt affect them sliding. The tank also has a slight scratch at the front (see photo) but I was told it could be easily removed but it didnt bother me so I didnt do it. The tank does weigh a lot and I would suggest at least 4-6 strong people to move it.
The Hood;
Oak veneered with two flaps on top, measure 94.5x25x6" 240x64.5x15cm and sits over the tank, meaning the hood is 3"/7cm over the top of the tank. There's a little bit of water damage at the ends inside the hood but nothing major and not visible from the exterior.
I would be looking for £300 for the tank and hood but will also consider sensible offers.
