AquaMarine 900 Complete Marine Set Up

Description: Complete set up. AquaMarine 900 tank from Aqua One complete with Marisys filter system and Eheim external filter too.

In the tank are:

Around 30kg premium Fiji live rock, some soft corals - loads of mushrooms, polyps and zoas, an elephant ear (about 6" x 3"), a large stubby finger coral (around 6-8" high) and a stony Goniopora which is also fairly large at around 4" square. All corals are on live rock. I also have (included) a very large blue carpet anemone hosted by 'Bob' the clownfish (also included). Absolutely masses of mushrooms and polyps and a large Zoa rock too with around 40 heads on. Cleanup crew is around 40 turbo snails (I just bought a fresh batch) plus around 20 crabs (a mix of red legged, blue legged and common hermits). There is also a huge black bristle starfish (around 10-12" fully extended. Also two sandsifter starfish, both around 4" across (one is down to three legs! This doesn't bother him in the slightest, I think the nem got hold of him but he's fully healed and makes his way around quite happily!) Finally there is a shrimp, I think he's a Cleaner Shrimp (he's bright red and came as part of my clean up crew). The fish are - Bob the clownfish who just loves his nem. He's about two as well and about 3" long. There is a dwarf angel, a coral beauty. He's about 2-3" long and again about two years old. Finally there is a pair of Blue/Green Chromis. They're about one year old and about 2". It's a fairly decent set of starter corals with a few basic fish for interest really. It would make a fantastic mature first system as this has been running for about six months in this tank.

The tank and equipment:

The tank is an AquaMarine 900 from Aqua One. Full details are on their website. It's a silver tank on black stand. Very modern and eye catching. This is the rare bow fronted version. Dimensions are 40cm deep at the smaller sides, 43 at the widest bow part, 90cm wide, 133cm high. Please remember there is a hang-on weir box and in/outlet at the rear and room needs to be allowed to lift the lid.

I have added to the basic Marysis filter (external, housed in the cabinet) with a brand new (literally weeks old) Eheim external filter. This is a large canister filter, the Eheim Ecco Pro 200. It's a brand new model and is running a brand new Eheim surface skimmer. Both together cost me nearly £100 from Clearwater of Leicester a few weeks ago.

The Marysis filter is in perfect working order and comes with a 4 year guarantee (I haven't registered it so the new owner could). The Marysis has a built in protein skimmer plus full filter system, bio balls, all sorts in there. I have a Rena Smartheater in there and two Koralia 2's set up to create a little water movement.

In addition I am including a one-month-old RO generator unit with new filters and a 200+ litre water butt. All pipework etc is included so it'll be easy to set up. There is also about 1/4 of a bucket of reef salt too.

Finally there is some food (frozen and dry) and some various bottles and potions including a test kit I think.

Absoutely complete set up. Only selling due to my daughters toys taking over my living room and a desire to be able to move again! This set up has cost over £1500 to put together. Everything is in immaculate condition. The tank has one small scratch to the outside, about 3/4 of the way up the glass on the left side. It's about 2" long and not deep. It may be able to be sorted I really don't know. Priced to reflect the original cost and wear (which is minimal!)
