Ivanacara bimaculata

Description: I have UK bred bimaculata ready in a couple of weeks time. Interesting and rarely available South American dwarf cichlid from Guyana. Less aggressive and slightly smaller than the closely related Ivanacara adoketa zebra acara . These are a black water fish but adapted to UK tap water. They are pretty robust and adaptable but will require a soft acidic environment for breeding. Males show blue gold and red while females slightly smaller with a white ventral spot. Nice breeding project.
