Beutiful Marine set up for sale

Description: Hi all. Due to financial restrictions I am afraid that i have had to give up on this beautiful hobby. I am going to make massive losses on this project we have only just completed. Everything I have purchased is less than 4 months old at the time of writing this.

I am hoping to sell all of this equipment together as I am reluctant to stress any of the animals, and I will not knock the system out of balance by selling important equipment at the wrong times.

The tank is 4ftX2ftX2ft (about 100 gallon) and has a sump contained snugly in the cabinet (about 25 gallon). Everything was built to spec and to fit the equipment purchased. The cabinet is made from solid wood in a beautiful oak veneered finish with matching hood, with 6 coats of lacker to protect it from salt creep. The cabinet has 2 main doors for sump area and one small door for extra electrics. The whole size of the unit measures 5ft 5” high and 4ft 1 ½ across by 2ft 1 ¼ deep.

There are six marine tubes fitted with reflectors in the hood 3 marine blue and 3 marine white, with starters etc. There are four 402 powerheads and a maxijet powerhead.

There are 3 hydrometers (one of them is scientific and cost £20), 3 heaters, a new digital thermometer, and a new heavy duty magnet for algae glass cleaning that cost us £15.

I also have with this lot a 4 month old Kent marine R/O at 24 gallon a day which cost me £185 in January and it has the easy fitting which I bought separately. I also have nine 5 gallon drums that cost me £6 each and a 10 gallon drum that I use to mix up my salt. And with this is an extremely powerful pump and hose to do your mix and make for easy and quick changes.

The table below shows you the price I have paid for the each individual item and hopefully what I may recoup. I am keen for a quick sale and aim for a fair price. Im sure you realise though of the expense it has cost me and I am also keen to recoup at least half of the expense.

I stress that I am reluctant to break up the tank and would like to sell it as a whole.

Anyone is welcome to stop by and take a look. Also there is a lot of frozen food and 3 expensive marine books and over 10 recent marine world magazines, and an extensive range of complete salifert testing kits and filter wool.

Ive probably missed a load and will remember after this post.

This whole project has cost me at least a grand total of £3188 in only four months, and Im afraid I now cant afford it anymore which is a shame. With the things I have probably forget this may well add up to nearer £3300.

I am looking to recoup about £1600 back for a quick sale.

Viewing is recommended to truly appreciate this project.

I would be happier if this went to somebody with a little experience although I would be willing to help a newcomer to set this up and give free advice and support.

Please email me on peterandamelia@tiscali.co.uk or phone me on 077900191997 or 01915869873 I can send photos by email because i have tried putting them on here but it wont accept a jpeg image which is very strange given that this is standard, if you want.

I am based in the North of England in County Durham.
