Hello i have some bristlies for sale ..i have about 4 left and at a guess they look mostly female (may haver one male)which is unusual as i end up having mostly male!! they are fantastic breeding stock....(as i have hundreds of small ones and some long finned also for sale soon) The ones i have are about a good 1 and half inch lovely and chunky and good weight and healthy. i want £2 each they all get on well and live together fine.
I also have a mature male with lovely spikes growing but he is a little aggressive with other male plecs (unusual for a bristlie) he was one i sold to someone and she closed the tank down and wanted to re home him back to me...because he has lived alone he doesnt seem to have any social skills i put him back in my tank and he chased all my male plecs away and went looking for them...he is ok with the ladies lol he is for sale for £3 as he is healthy and mature.I think he would need to be maybe the only male in the tank???.
