Description:
Designed and installed by Shirley Aquatics one of the UK’s leading experts in Marine installations. This system has to be seen to be believed, the photo’s do not do it justice.
All equipment is in excellent condition and working order.
The system comprises of the following:
Live rock - 200kg of live rock – this is the highest grade rock from Shirley – PSR (pacific storm rock from Australia) when available !!!
Main tank – Clearseal glass tank – 360 gallons – 90” (inches) long x 32” deep x 36” wide – 12mm thick glass incorporating a double braced glass base. Contains two weirs, one acting as the return weir (13” x 9”) for main flow and the other weir (6” x 6”) as the feed for the two external sequence pumps.
Sump tank – Clearseal glass tank – 72” long x 24 “ wide x 18.5 “ high - 10mm thick glass – partioned sections for the main return feed to the tank, miracle mud 600mm long, trickle spray bar/glass tower section & TMC filter sock section (contains three filter socks, spare socks are also included)
Algea refugium – section in the sump using miracle mud (6 large bags of miracle Mud) and cheato algea
Bespoke stand – manufactured from 2” square steel box section painted black (powder coated)
Pumps – two external Sequence 10,000 pumps (1/4 hp EBS56G 4-069 3/2 - 9546 litres/hr) The two pumps are hard piped using 2” diameter ABS pipework with ball shut off valves, one of the pumps is for the main return flow from the sump whilst the second is used for internal circulation via a spray bar the full length of the tank postioned at the rear of the tank, together with two other pipes for flow (2” and 1.25”diameter), the ball control valves allow the flow to be directed at different flow rates to certain parts of the tank. A third pump Eheim 1060 is used for flow through the two UV sterilisers.
Pipework – The entire system is piped in Marine quality ABS pipework.
UV sterlisers – two TMC model 30 - 30 watt
Protein Skimmer – Deltec APF600
Kalkwasser Stirrer – Deltec KM500S
Ph Monitoring (in the sump) – Aquamedic Ph controller & Ph probe (Ph calibration fluids included)
RO unit – Kent Maxxima Hi-S DMAX35HiS – three pod system - 35 gallons per day
Calcium reactor – Aqua-Medic 1000 controlled by Aquamedic Ph computer and Ph probe (Ph probe mounted in the calcium reactor) with shutoff of the CO2 being controlled via an Aquamedic Pulsed solenoid valve, non return valve is STM.
Co2 bottle – industrial type - 11kg (6” diameter x 580mm high) - refillable
Co2 pressure regulator – Aqua-medic
Lights – Metal halide/Blue actinics – Acadia series 3 unit – 2 x 400 watt unit (1090mmlong)
Acadia series 3 unit 1 x 400 watt unit (695mm long)
The sump is lit 24 hours/day by four Deltec T3 20” long 24 Watt tubes with reflectors and
starter units
